Angelo Louis “Louie” Ramos, 38, of San Antonio passed away Friday, May 27, 2005 in a car accident in Three Rivers, TX.
Louie lived a life of joy and always brought a smile to those who knew him. He had a natural gift of bringing joy and laughter to all situations and circumstances.
Louie was a devoted family man and had just recently told his wife Deborah how fortunate he felt to be married to her and how blessed he felt to have the love of his wife and kids.
Louie is survived by his wife, Deborah Garza Ramos; his children, Alexa 5, Briana 2, and Preston 8 months; his parents, Tito Ramos and Carmen Quijano; stepfather, Tony Quijano; brothers, Tony Ramos and Johnny Quijano; stepsister, Margarita Quijano, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Louie was born in Middletown, NY on March 21st, 1967. He graduated from San Antonio’s Madison High School in 1985. Louie attended UTSA and received a degree in Business Administration. He was a gentle man, a wonderful conversationalist who made friends with everyone with whom he came into contact. Louie’s smile was so contagious that everyone smiled around him. He was a wonderful and loving father who delighted in waking up early and eating breakfast with his three beautiful children. Louie was dedicated to raising his kids and made time to coach Alexa’s soccer team. “Coach Louie” was often seen carrying daughter Briana on his shoulders, a camcorder around his neck, running up and down the field encouraging and cheering on Alexa and her teammates. An avid sportsman, Louie loved playing golf and soccer. He successfully applied his competitive nature and optimistic spirit to his career in sales while working at Cingular Wireless.
Louie was a loving, devoted and compassionate husband, father, son, brother, godfather and friend. Louie was a generous man and his good works will live on in his descendants forever. Our lives will not be the same without your twinkling eyes and joy-filled smile. We love you, Louie.
A Rosary will be prayed for Louie on Monday, May 30th at 7 p.m. at Porter Loring North Chapel.
The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, May 31st at 2 p.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1602 Thousand Oaks Dr., San Antonio, TX 78232, 210-494-1606. A Reception will follow at St. Mark’s.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested toward The Louie Ramos Memorial Education Fund, c/o First Community Bank, PO Box 160789, San Antonio, TX 78280.
