Lance Cpl. Christopher S. Baltazar, age 19, of San Antonio passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009.
Christopher was a guy everyone wanted to be around. He loved his "hounds" Jynx and Jade, he loved God, his family and the Marine's. His family and friends were everything.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Beatriz Santiago-Alberts; siblings, Brendon A. Baltazar and Alexus M. Alberts; maternal grandmother, Carmen A Garcia; maternal grandfather, Victor Santiago; paternal grandmother, Marie-Chantal Manning and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 13, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
Interment will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be given to a scholarship being established in Christopher's name to the Judson High School Junior R.O.T.C Orienteering Team. Please forward contributions to the following address:
